Orange County Blacksmith Guild
Membership
Three steps will get you in as a member:
- Become a member of the Orange County Blacksmith Guild
- Become an annual donor/participant in Heritage Museum of Orange County
- Maintain an annual membership in California Blacksmith Association
As a member you receive:
- Our self-paced, CBA certified instruction for Basic
I classes
- Work on your own projects on our open forge days
- Invitations to participate in blacksmith demonstrations during Museum
events
- Heritage Museum of Orange County member-only invitations and events
- California Blacksmith magazine
- Orange County Blacksmith Guild - Register as an OCBG
member at no charge. Sign-up forms are available at the shop or to download
here.
There is no cost to join Orange County Blacksmith Guild. However there
is a fee to cover fuel and materials. Membership info is kept privately
within the instructors. E-mail
addresses will be used to keep you informed of any schedule changes
or future shop events.
- Heritage
Museum of Orange County (HMOC) - A tax-deductible "Apprentice"
membership is $25. Benefits of membership include a periodic e-mail
newsletter, free admission to the Kellogg House, and two guest passes
to the Kellogg House. Other membership levels are available.
- California
Blacksmith Association (CBA). Membership costs $45 and
includes a subscription to California Blacksmith, published
in January, March, May, July, September, and November of each year.
