Do you love all things Victorian? If you answered yes, then you'll love the Victorian Tea Society. VTS members engage in a variety of Victorian-related activities, including visiting other museums, sipping from steaming cups at local tea houses, and participating in workshops on nineteenth-century crafts, customs, decorating styles, and more. Members are encouraged to acquire or make Victorian costumes and to wear them on outings.
But the Victorian Society is more than a social club. It serves as a fund-raising auxiliary of the Centennial Heritage Museum. It hosts themed teas and other events several times a year to benefit children's educational programs at the museum.
